As we near the end of the year, I just wanted to remind you that you should check your insurance:  have you met your deductible?  Do you have a Flex Spending account that still has money in it?  If so, consider a visit at MIB so you don’t let that money go to waste.  I’ve only ever met my yearly deductible ONCE, the year I fractured my ankle.  Boy did I get stuff done that year afterwards, as my copays and coinsurance had vanished with my deductible.  Eyes, colonoscopy, labs, the works!

Also, if you have an account with Fullscripts through our office, watch for a big announcement from them next week in prep for Cyber Monday.  Even if you’ve never ordered from them, if you’ve set up the account (from the email we had them send), you’ll get their announcement.  That’s all I’ll say for now–a little suspense is good for you.

And no, I’m not really going to wax eloquent about 2020 and it’s ending.  But I will say this:  please don’t be stupid about holiday gatherings.  Thanksgiving, as much as I love it, should really only be shared with people you already hang out with this year.  And you might want to reconsider traveling for Christmas.  For those of us in PA, the “quarantine state list” is up to about 41 states–meaning, if you go there, you need to self quarantine for 14 days when you get back.  And PA doesn’t really want folks FROM those states coming here either.  So it’s the first year in I don’t know how long that I’m not going to see family in person.  Yeah, bummer.  But you don’t really want me bringing something back with me to the office, do you?
